Saloum Cohen, born on January 13, 1921, in Nablus, was a Palestinian priest who served as the high priest of the Samaritan community in Nablus. He was a member of the first Palestinian Legislative Council representing the Samaritans, having received 2,451 votes. An educator of the Torah and ancient Hebrew, he also acted as an imam for Samaritan prayers, contributing to various committees including the Jerusalem and Public Budget committees. He passed away on February 9, 2004, at the age of 83.
