Salvatore Contorno, also known as 'Totuccio', was a prominent mafia member of the Sicilian Cosa Nostra associated with the Santa Maria di Gesù family. Born on May 28, 1946, in Palermo, he became a 'Pentito' in October 1984, following the example of Tommaso Buscetta. During the Maxi Trial, he provided detailed testimony about the internal structure of the Cosa Nostra and its involvement in the Pizza Connection during the mid-1980s.
