Salvatore Claudio Ruta Crevy, also known as Claudio Rutilio, was an Italian priest and writer born on February 24, 1923, in Messina. He was a prominent figure in modern Roman paganism and served as the spiritual leader of the Movimento Tradizionale Romano. Ruta was politically active initially with MSI and later with Ordine Nuovo. He founded the magazine Il Ghibellino in 1959 and was a key animator of the Dioscuri group in Messina. In 1992, he co-founded the MTR, becoming its spiritual guide until his death on June 30, 2002.
