Sellapperumage Saman Piyasiri Fernando (23 March 1958 – 29 December 1989) was a prominent Sri Lankan political figure and military leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) during the 1987-89 insurrection. Known by his nom de guerre Keerthi Vijayabahu, he held a rank higher than the JVP's founder Rohana Wijeweera. A graduate of the University of Kelaniya, he rapidly rose through the party ranks, eventually leading the JVP after Wijeweera's death. He was also referred to by various aliases, including Kabraal and Mendis.
