Samo Dervišić is a Slovenian cellist born on December 12, 1981, in Ljubljana. He began learning the cello at age five and progressed to the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. From 2002 to 2007, he taught cello in various music schools in Slovenia. Dervišić is also part of the band Aperion and the classical string quartet La Vie D'Un Cuarteto Cuarteto de Cuerdas. In 2009, he represented Slovenia with Quartissimo during the performance of 'Love Symphony.'
