Sandy Pool is a Canadian poet, editor, and professor of creative writing, known for her two poetry collections and a chapbook. Her debut collection, Exploding Into Night, was shortlisted for the Governor General's Award in 2010. Her second collection, Undark: An Oratorio, received multiple nominations, including for the Trillium Book Award. Her writing has also been featured in numerous prominent journals and translated into several languages. In addition to poetry, she writes for screen and stage and teaches at various prestigious institutions, currently a professor at the University of East Anglia.
