Sanpatsu Katsura is a Japanese rakugo performer and politician born on January 18, 1964, in Tsu, Mie Prefecture. His real name is Teruyoshi Uda. He graduated from Takada High School. Apart from being a rakugo artist, he is also involved in various entertainment activities including hosting, balloon shows, and magic. He served two terms as a council member for the former Anno Town and was elected to Tsu City Council in 2010, where he has been re-elected multiple times.
