Santiago Arriaga y Arrien, also known as Santiago de Jesús, was a Trinitarian priest born on November 22, 1903, in Líbano de Arrieta, Vizcaya. He was martyred on September 24, 1936, during the Spanish Civil War. His contributions to the religious community are significant, leading to his beatification alongside 497 other Spanish martyrs by Pope Benedict XVI in Rome in 2007. His legacy continues to be honored within the Trinitarian order and the broader Catholic community.
