Sara Elizabeth Bruce Northrup Hollister (1924-1997) was an American occultist and the second wife of L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. She significantly contributed to developing Dianetics and was part of the Ordo Templi Orientis, a secret society. Northrup experienced a troubled marriage with Hubbard, marked by domestic violence and controversial allegations. After their marriage ended in 1951, she moved on to marry Miles Hollister, ultimately living in Hawaii and Massachusetts until her death. Northrup's life intertwined with key figures in the occult and early Scientology movement.
