Born in Kheri Naudh Singh, he trained under Prof. B S Narang and belonged to the Patiala Gharana. He also acted in Punjabi films and was married to fellow singer Amar Noorie. Sardool passed away from COVID-19 on February 24, 2021, leaving behind his two sons, who are also pursuing music.
