Sascha Schelter, born on January 13, 1985, in Potsdam, is a former German bobsledder who competed for BRC Riesa. Trained by Heinz Rieger, he began bobsledding in 2003 while studying sports management. He was part of Thomas Florschütz's bobsled team and won the silver medal in the four-man event at the 2006 Junior World Championships. Schelter achieved several victories in the European Cup and became a German champion. His career ended due to a severe injury before the 2008 World Championships.
