Yagyū joined Sendai Broadcasting in 1994, becoming known as a face of evening news. After marrying in 2002, she became a freelance announcer prioritizing family life. She returned to TV in 2012 with NHK Sendai, later becoming a radio reporter. Yagyū features in various programs, continuing her broadcasting career at multiple stations.
