Satoshi Kamata (born June 12, 1938) is a Japanese journalist and writer. He began his career as a worker in a printing company at the age of 18 but was dismissed after attempting to form a union. Subsequently, he pursued studies in Japanese literature at Waseda University. Kamata has authored approximately ten books, which have been translated into multiple languages. His notable work includes 'Toyota, l'usine du désespoir' (1973), which became a bestseller and has been reissued over thirty times.
