Satsuko Okamoto (岡本 颯子) is a Japanese picture book author born on February 24, 1945. She is the daughter of the Western-style painter Toki Okamoto and the sister of the manga artist Sanpei Shirato. Her contributions to children's literature have earned her recognition in Japan.
