Savitri Devi Jindal, born on March 20, 1950, is an Indian businesswoman and the chairperson of Emirates Jindal Steel. She hails from a prominent family in Tinsukia, Assam, and married Om Prakash Jindal in 1970, the founder of the Jindal Group. After her husband's tragic death in a helicopter crash in 2005, she took charge of the group. Jindal has also served as a minister in the Haryana government and was a member of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. Notably, she is recognized as the richest woman in India and one of the wealthiest individuals globally.
