David Edward Sutch, known as Screaming Lord Sutch, was a British musician and politician born on November 10, 1940, in Hampstead, London. He was the founder and leader of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party from 1983 until his death in 1999, participating in several parliamentary elections. Sutch struggled with depression and ended his life on June 16, 1999, at his mother's house. His fiancée, Yvonne Elwood, mentioned he suffered from 'manic depression'.
