Sebastianus Darwis, born July 28, 1973, is the Regent of Bengkayang since February 26, 2021. He was elected after winning the 2020 Bengkayang Election alongside Golkar politician Syamsul Rizal. Prior to his regency, he was a member of the provincial and district DPRD and served as the Chairman of the DPRD of Bengkayang in 2009. He led the DPC PDI Perjuangan Bengkayang in 2014-2019 before being expelled for his candidacy as regent with Gerindra and Golkar in 2020. He is the eldest son of the first Regent of Bengkayang, Jacobus Luna.
