Seibun Uesugi, born on April 25, 1946, is a Japanese monk, playwright, and the director of the Fukujin Research Institute. He also serves as the chief priest of the Jojusan Honkokuji temple located in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Uesugi is associated with the Nichiren sect of Buddhism and is known for his contributions to both religious practice and the arts.
