Seiichi Nakamura is a Japanese jazz musician known for his mastery of the saxophone (alto, soprano, tenor) and clarinet. Born in 1947 in Tokyo Prefecture, he began playing in the late 1960s with pianist Yosuke Yamashita. His notable recordings include 'First Contact' and 'When A Man Loves a Woman'. Throughout the 1970s and 80s, he collaborated with various artists such as Takashi Mizuhashi and Yasuko Agawa, participating in over forty jazz recording sessions until 2015, showcasing his versatility and talent in the jazz genre.
