Seiji Ōsaka is a Japanese politician born on April 24, 1959, in Niseko, Hokkaidō. He has served as a member of the House of Representatives in Japan for the Hokkaidō 8th district. Ōsaka has held various political roles, including being a parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and a special advisor to the Prime Minister during the Hatoyama and Kan cabinets. He was also the mayor of his hometown Niseko from 1994 to 2005. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with multiple political parties.
