Sejko Stanchev Daskalov was a Bulgarian medical student and partisan who participated in the Slovak National Uprising and the Czech-Slovak resistance. He studied medicine at Comenius University in Bratislava starting in 1940. Daskalov was involved with an illegal Marxist group within the Bulgarian National Students' Union and served as a medic in a partisan unit. He died on February 13, 1945, during a mission to break through enemy lines, where his unit suffered heavy losses.
