Selmo Cikotić is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian politician of Montenegrin origin, who served as the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina after being elected by the Parliamentary Assembly in 2006. He is a member of the Party of Democratic Action. Cikotić completed military high school in Belgrade and a military academy in Zadar. He served actively during the Bosnian War and held various military roles, including military attaché in Washington and commander of the First Corps of the Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
