Sema Ramazanoğlu is a Turkish politician from the Justice and Development Party. Born on August 25, 1959, she served as the Minister of Family and Social Policies in the third government of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu from November 24, 2015, until May 24, 2016. Ramazanoğlu is noted for being the second cabinet minister in Turkey to wear a hijab, following her predecessor Ayşe Gürcan. She has been a Member of Parliament for Denizli since the general elections on November 1, 2015, and previously served as an advisor to party leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan from 2003 to 2009, also co-founding the party.
