Serge Giguère is a notable Canadian documentary filmmaker born in 1946 in Arthabaska, Quebec. He has won the prestigious Prix Jutra/Iris for Best Documentary Film twice, first in 2007 for 'Driven by Dreams' and again in 2015 for 'Finding Macpherson.' Giguère has also received nominations for his earlier work, including the 2000 Jutra Awards for 'The Megaphone Reel' and for Best Sound in a Documentary at the 2019 Quebec Cinema Awards for 'My Mother's Letters.' Additionally, he was awarded the Governor General's Award in Visual and Media Arts in 2008 and the Prix Albert-Tessier in 2021.
