Serik Nokin, born on February 17, 1959, in Aktyube Region, is a Kazakh politician and businessman. He graduated as a chemical engineer from the Saratov Higher Military Chemical Defense Engineering School and later as an economist from T. Ryskulov Kazakh Economic University. Nokin held various positions in the Aktyubinsk Chromium Compounds Plant from 1982 and was its president post-1995. He also served in various governmental roles, including Deputy Akim of Atyrau Region and Akim of Aktyube City. He has received several awards for his service.
