Settimio Pagnini (1921-2015) was an Italian basketball coach and partisan who played a significant role in the development of basketball in Savona, Italy. As a member of the Italian women's national team coaching staff from 1973 to 1974, he led the team to a bronze medal at the 1974 European Championships. Pagnini was honored with awards such as the Stella d'Oro al Merito Sportivo and continued to contribute to basketball through youth coaching and training initiatives until his passing.
