Sever Meșca is a former Romanian deputy who served in the legislatures from 1996 to 2004 representing Tulcea and Bacău for the PRM party. He was a member of friendship groups with several countries including Thailand, Pakistan, Japan, and Italy. A notable political figure, Meșca demanded the arrest of former King Michael I in 1997 and was involved in NATO parliamentary affairs. He also held various diplomatic roles and is an author of several articles. He resigned from PRM and led the Socialist Party in Romania in 2002.
