Sevinç Aktansel was a Turkish actress born on November 27, 1937, in Istanbul. She was the daughter of Saim Aktansel, a geography teacher and founder of Vefa SK. She completed her education at the Ankara State Conservatory. Sevinç gained recognition for her roles in various TV series including Şehnaz Tango and Küçük Besleme. After losing her husband to ALS in 1995, she was diagnosed with the same disease herself 14 years later. She passed away on August 25, 2011, in a nursing home.
