Sewa Singh Sekhwan (10 April 1950 – 6 October 2021) was an influential Indian politician associated with the Aam Aadmi Party. He was a founding member of Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) and held significant roles such as Education Minister of Punjab. He served as a cabinet minister and was involved in various leadership capacities within the Shiromani Akali Dal, notably during the Emergency. After an extensive teaching career, he entered politics and was elected MLA in 1997. He passed away due to a liver infection at the age of 71.
