Seyyed Ali Qazi Askar is an Iranian Twelver Shia cleric born on May 26, 1954, in Isfahan. He served as the representative of Iran's supreme leader and supervised Iranian Hujjaj from 2009 to 2019. He was appointed custodian of the shrine of Abd al-Azim al-Hasani in March 2022. A prominent figure in Shia Islam, he completed his education in Isfahan and Qom, achieving a doctoral equivalent in 1995. He was also active as a temporary Imam of Friday Prayer in Isfahan for five years.
