Seyyed Yahya Safavi is an Iranian military leader who attained the highest ranks within the Iranian military structure. He served as the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for a decade before being dismissed in September 2007. Following his removal from that position, he became a military advisor to Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
