Yusuf has played a significant role in uncovering marginalized poets and writers, and has contributed to various media productions, hosting television programs like "Juice of Books" and "Azbakeya Wall." He is currently involved with the magazine "Alam al-Kitab" and is working on a new book titled "The Broken Secularism of Mustafa Mahmoud."
