He was renowned for his performances of traditional folk songs and stories in events known as 'lok dayro' in Gujarat and beyond. He was known for singing hymns composed by notable figures like Dasi Jeevan, Meera Bai, Kabir, Gangasati, and Narsinh Mehta. He lived as a recluse, spending time at Shri Parbavala Hanuman Mandir and later established an ashram at Champaleshwar Mahadev in Kutch, providing care for the sick and helpless.
