Shannon Kay O'Donnell is an accomplished American meteorologist and news anchor. Born in Redmond, Washington, she excelled academically, finishing as valedictorian. She obtained her degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington and gained experience at NOAA as a marine biologist. Starting her career at KOMO in 1994, she transitioned to KING and later to KNTV, where she won several awards. After a brief hiatus, she returned to KOMO, currently serving as the chief meteorologist.
