Sharda Sinha is an Indian folk singer born on October 1, 1952. Primarily a Maithili vocalist, she has also performed songs in Bhojpuri and Magahi languages. She gained particular fame for singing the Maithili version of the Chhath Puja song 'Ho Din Nath'. In recognition of her contributions to Maithili folk music, the Government of India awarded her the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor, in 1991, and the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian honor, in 2018.
