Professor Shari L. Forbes is an Australian and Canadian forensic scientist specializing in thanatology, particularly in the decomposition of human bodies. She established a body farm in Australia and a similar facility in Canada from 2019 to 2022, affiliated with the Forensic Science department at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. As of January 2023, she is a full professor in chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Windsor and aims to initiate the first body farm in Ontario.
