Shashi Sankhla is an Indian Kathak dancer born on October 28, 1948, known for her contributions to the Jaipur gharana of Kathak. A disciple of her guru, Pandit Kundan Lal Gangani, she was honored with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2008 for her work in Kathak. Notably, she served as the head of the Jaipur Kathak Institute and was instrumental in establishing the 'Geetanjali Sangeet Samiti', a dedicated organization for the promotion and preservation of Kathak.
