Shaunaka Rishi Das, born Timothy Kieranan on February 18, 1961, is the director of the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies (OCHS) since its establishment in 1997. He is an educator, broadcaster, and the first Hindu chaplain at Oxford University. He has served on various prestigious committees, including the Commission on Religion and Belief in British Public Life and the international advisory council of the Auroville Foundation appointed by the Government of India in 2013. He was previously the editor of ISKCON Communications Journal and held other significant roles in ISKCON.
