Daniel Shien-Ta Su is a notable Taiwanese violinist born on May 7, 1957. After graduating from the École normale de musique de Paris in 1985, he returned to Taiwan to focus on his dual role in performing and teaching. Currently, he is a faculty member at Taipei National University of the Arts and National Taiwan Normal University, where he also holds the position of Dean of the College of Music. His contributions to music were recognized when he won the Best Performance Award at the prestigious Golden Melody Awards in 2002.
