Shifa Gardi (born July 1, 1986 - died February 25, 2017) was an Iraqi Kurdish television presenter and journalist known for her work with Rudaw Media Network in western Mosul. She tragically lost her life when a bomb exploded by the roadside while she was covering the war in Northern Iraq. Gardi was recognized for her commitment to journalism in a highly dangerous environment.
