Shigehisa Saruko (born April 28, 1957) is a Japanese politician who has served as the mayor of Shizukuishi, Iwate Prefecture for two terms. He was previously a member of the Shizukuishi Town Assembly for three terms. Saruko's political career has been marked by his local governance and community involvement in Iwate Prefecture.
