Shigeki Chiba (born February 12, 1933) is a Japanese film director, screenwriter, and educator. He is known for leading the citizen group 'Earth Family Association' and serving as the principal of the Japan Film School. He also holds the position of special professor at the Japan Film University. In addition to his creative work, Chiba is a Christian and is the chairperson of the judging committee for the Miyamae Film Competition in Kawasaki City.
