Shigeo Morino (森野 繁夫, 1935-2013) was a Japanese scholar of Chinese literature, specializing in the poetry of the Six Dynasties period. He graduated from Hiroshima University in 1957 and received his doctorate in literature in 1975. He taught at Hiroshima University from 1972 to 1996 and was a professor at Yasuda Women's University. He published numerous books and articles on Chinese poetry, including "The Study of Six Dynasties Poetry: "Group Literature" and "Individual Literature" (1976) and "Chinese Poets: Their Poetry and Lives: Du Fu, the Melancholy Poet" (1982).
