Shin Partow, born Ali Shirazpour Partow (December 23, 1907 - October 15, 1997), was a Kurdish poet, writer, and linguist from Iran. He is known for addressing the evils of society in his works while praising life. Partow was the father of Majid Partow, a filmmaker and cinematographer, and the grandfather of Vishka Asayesh, an actress and set designer.
