He worked notably with the Takeshi Inomata Trio in 1990 and released the album 'You Can't Touch My Heartstrings' in 1991. After spending three years in New York City, he produced the album 'Something Close to Love' featuring various artists. Upon returning to Japan, he performed as a solo artist and collaborated with various musicians, releasing albums including 'Old Diary' and 'Alone', and worked with pianist Masahiko Satō on 'Duets'.
