He graduated from the Tokyo University School of Medicine in March 1979 and subsequently worked in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Tokyo University from 1979 to March 1988. In April 1988, he established the Kanda Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, where he continues his practice in aesthetic medicine.
