Shira Kuperman-Segal is an Israeli NGO founder, medical activist, and patient-rights advocate. She co-founded Halasartan, supporting young-adult cancer patients. Formerly the spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Defense, she also served as CEO of the Tal Center, providing integrative medicine. Kuperman-Segal has contributed to legislation for patient rights in Israel, particularly regarding loans and leave days, and served on the Ministry of Health's board for Promoters of Rights in the Healthcare System in 2022.
