Shiva Keshavan is an Indian luger born on August 25, 1981. He is notable for being the first Indian representative to participate in luge at the Winter Olympics, competing from 1998 to 2018. Keshavan set an Asian speed record of 134.3 km/h (83.5 mph) by breaking the previous record of 131.9 km/h (82.0 mph). He has also won a gold medal at the Asian Luge Cup held in Nagano, Japan, and established a new Asian track record in 2012 with a time of 49.590 seconds.
