Shōkichi Ishida, born on April 12, 1968, is a Japanese musician and music producer from Shizuoka City. Originally named Kōkichi Ishida, he graduated from Numazu College of Technology and initially worked as an electrical machine designer. At 22, he moved to Tokyo and formed the band MOTORWORKS with renowned artists like Kenichi Kurosawa of L⇔R and Akihiro Tamura of Spitz. He is currently active as a solo artist and guitarist for New Indian Death Rock, in addition to producing music. He enjoys vintage cars, fishing, noodles, cats, and Star Wars.
