Shōko Kanazawa, born in 1985 in Tokyo, Japan, is a Japanese calligrapher. She began learning calligraphy from her mother, Yasuko, at the age of five. In 2005, at the age of 20, Kanazawa held her first solo exhibition titled 'Shoko Kanazawa, The World of Calligraphy' at the Ginza Shoro gallery. She has since exhibited her work in various galleries and Japanese temples. Kanazawa regularly showcases her art and is known for her achievements, despite having Down syndrome.
